PLC-Programming

Success in series.

Welcome to one of our core competences: programming a wide variety of PLC systems for demanding tasks. Ranging from couplings to data management through to control systems, this service belongs to one of the fundamental competences our company’s origin is based on – and this is why we have a particularly broad experience in this field.

Simultaneously to the profound changes in automation technology which have been taking place over the past decade, we have been adapting our range of services to the current developments and our customers’ requirements. “Flexible automation” is the keyword today – and just as flexible are our services.

In this context, robots are gaining more and more importance. Whether small plants with only one robot or composite plants with more than 100 robots are concerned: robots can take over more than the usual handling, welding and bonding tasks. In fact, they can be used for any processes once they have been equipped with the corresponding additional devices. The only thing that is required is intelligent and flexible programming.

W use mainly PLC and visualization systems by Siemens and Phoenix in our customers’ projects. And we always keep an eye on efficiency. In order to shorten the commissioning times on site, to create feasibility studies and to support mechanical construction works, we increasingly go for offline programming. And speaking of efficiency: in our projects, efficiency starts as early as in the consulting and planning phase. That’s because a PLC program can always be only as good as the strategy behind it.

Whatever your plans are: We can make them happen.

Regardless of the PLC system: you can always rely on our experience. This is particularly true for the manufacturers Siemens (SIMATIC S7 and S5) and Phoenix (PC WORX).

As for Siemens, we master the entire SIMATIC  S7 spectrum ranging from small control units up to the largest control system with numerous special modules. And more than that, we have the respective experts who are able to support you with optimizing the control technology of your plants in every little detail even for the SIMATIC  S5 system, which has become a bit outdated over the years.

And we are also competent partners to contact when it comes to the SIMATIC  TIA-Portal or the S7-1500. By the way, this also applies to the bus systems: all systems used in the automobile industry are part of our daily business, among them above all Profinet, Profibus and Interbus.

Visualization

Focus on efficiency.

Over the past few years, visualisation systems have been gaining increasing importance as interfaces between the process and the operator and will become even more significant in the future. Efficient, transparent, competent: We realise projects of any size, ranging from the visualisation of a small plant with one operating unit and only few images to visualising large transport systems with a master control station and numerous group control units via various PCs or dozens of operating stations with several hundred images: Our know-how pays off for you.

Some of the systems our experts use:

  • Zenon by CopaData
  • WinCC by Siemens
  • WinCC flexible by Siemens (conventional and in the TIA-Portal)
  • InTouch by Wonderware
  • Iconics (above all with Phoenix control systems)
  • Siemens ProTool (for old plants)

Tool Development

Tools for your success.

We attach utmost importance to innovation: above all when it comes to our tool development which goes far beyond the conventional plant programming of PLC units and robots. Our highly efficient tools help you, for example, in reducing error-prone monotonous routine work or in handling simultaneous management in different languages. No matter what kind of tool you need: our developments guarantee more efficiency, take workload from highly qualified staff members and increase quality through reproducible automated processes.

Projects we have implemented with success:

  • Documentation generators
  • Code generators (SIMATIC  S7, PC WORX, E-Plan, ABB, KUKA, etc.)
  • Data processing (pneumatic drawings, robot programs, etc.)
  • Data bases for the central storage of plant data
